    I love how it has a gazillion drawers of all shapes and sizes. I thought I would fill them up quickly, but I didn’t even come close. So I have lots of room to expand. But of course mostly it’s because it’s oak. Almost everything I have is oak. My headboard is oak. My dresser is oak. My coffee table is oak. And now my desk is oak. I just love it. It’s absolutely stunning.
    The desk arrived in perfect condition and the very nice delivery driver offered to help me get in my house.

    Our desk was delivered Friday, a little before noon.
    By late afternoon we had it assembled and started moving things into it. We had fun figuring out what to put in each drawer - especially the little ones on the top of the desk.
    We love all the well-made drawers and compartments that enable us to easily organize all our stuff!
    It is beautiful - we love it!

    The desk is wonderful - all I could have hoped for. Well made with lots of nooks and crannies. It was very easy to put together with a great set of instructions. I also want to thank Jane for guiding me through the whole process. I have always wanted a roll top desk so this was well worth the wait and a bargain at that!

    Superb quality. Pretty easy to put together. May want two people, just to make things easier and to be careful. Elegant piece. This is real oak wood, not the pressed fake stuff. Really, really packed well for shipping. Jane from Country Marketplace handles all the dealings with purchasing furniture. I ordered the desk and a fiile cabinet and chair to match with Jane's help. She makes sure everything is done perfectly and will keep you posted with every little detail along the way. She makes the process less stressful. Don't hesitate to buy from Country Marketplace.

    Best Part is rolling the top down to conceal my work

    I've had my desk for several months now and I just love it! It's exactly what I wanted. I like the seven separated nooks so I can categorize paperwork and other things, I like the built-in file drawers so I could get rid of my metal file cabinet, I like all the different sized drawers on the top. This desk makes it easy to organize everything. Best of all you can just roll down the top if you want to conceal everything. Oh, and it's very solid, well built and beautiful!

    So I always wanted this type of desk but could never afford or have room for.
    Now I can and I could not be happier.
    The desk I superb well made easy to assemble. I will build my library around the desk.
    Great customer service Jane is WONDERFUL very knowledgeable.
    She first called to set up delivery .
    I really appreciate her she was the best.
    The shipping company Southeastern were also excellent. The delivery guy had no problem with helping me get it in my house.

    A pleasure to sit at this vintage style desk

    Absolutely wonderful oasis and a pleasure to sit at this vintage desk. I'm a software developer by trade, working with cutting edge cloud technology. This is my great departure from that to study and recharge. I like the 24" inch depth which keeps it from overwhelming the room. I did make one modification. I lowered the knee-hole shelf by about 1.5" to accommodate for larger books. It still does not interfere with my legs when seated at the desk. Jane at Country Marketplace was great and worked with me to make sure delivery and setup was smooth. Installation was just a matter of putting the pedestals, center drawer, and top together. Very easy. It's best to just call Jane if you have questions - very knowledgeable gal.
