I'm Jane, and I've spent 35 years selling furniture — first from eight stores around Boston, now from one website. I still answer my own phone at 888-834-1925. Where the wood comes from

Every bench we build starts with reclaimed barn wood from Pennsylvania farm buildings — structures that stood for a hundred years or more before being carefully dismantled. The wood carries the marks of that first life: nail holes, natural variation in grain and color, the texture that only a century of Pennsylvania weather gives a plank of timber.

We don't sand that history away. Because the wood decides the look, no two benches we build are ever identical — that's not a limitation, it's the whole point.
