I received my desk today and put it together in record time. Everything was good with shipping, and putting it together. I'm very pleased with the desk!

The desk arrived in good condition with lots of packing and Styrofoam to protect it.
When I ordered the desk as a surprise for my husband, I was hoping if he would like it. Well, he LOVES it. It is awesome, awesome, awesome and gorgeous. Everything about it is fantastic.

The desk arrived this afternoon exactly as you said it would. Two boxes on one pallet and tightly shrink wrapped. There was no damage to either of the boxes.

Wow! Our Desk arrived, yesterday and we were stunned by it's beauty and craftsmanship. Why buy from Amazon when you can get it cheaper from Country Marketplace and still retain free shipping? The online pic really does not do this piece justice. First and foremost, I can confirm that this desk is 100% solid oak. The piece is very strong and sturdy, yet easy to move if you do so dividing the upper and lower base. The roll top sits snugly on dowels extending upward from the lower base. You can install the included screws to affix the top to the base in a permanent fashion, but we saw have chose not to at this time in the event we need to move the piece to another location. If you have children or large pets it would be best to install the included screws for safety purposes.

This desk has letter and/or legal size file capability. Inside and across the top of this desk you have (5) open slots for storage. (2) are 6.5"W x 6.5"D. (3) are 6.5"D x 3.5"W. There are (3) drawers next to these slots as well as (1) wider, open shelf. Plenty of space for stowing your office supplies. A really nice touch we appreciated is the pen/pencil loft seated immediately in front of the open shelves allowing quick access to writing utensils. You will not be able to make this out on the pic for this product. (2) electrical outlets with (2) USB Ports affix flush to the top/back of the desk surface working area. Cords tuck nicely downward and out the back for no clutter. There is an additional hole with cover that can be used to run computer/printer cables and so forth. Again, everything stows away neatly for no clutter.

There are a total of (4) drawers on the bottom half of this piece. Each door is solid oak and dovetail designed. The glides on these drawers are of the highest quality as they slide in/out very smoothly. Each drawer closes snugly. The pen drawer is magnificent with built in (Oak) compartments for more of your office supplies. The green felt lining is a very nice touch keeping things in place. The two other drawers excluding the file drawer are very customizable as they have removable boarders within. We also purchased the matching Executive Chair, which is exceptional.
